Valley View Sewer District recently partnered with Invoice Cloud to bring our ratepayers additional solutions for making Pay-by-Phone and Online Payments on your utility bill. The solutions offered by Invoice Cloud are safe & secure and are fast & easy to use. We are happy to announce the following services that are now available to you:
- Register an account to view your sewer bill, make payments, view your payment history, enroll in autopay solutions, and access other extended features.
- Pay online with One Time Pay; no registration required.
- Pay by Phone 1-855-798-1538
- Pay by Text, and receive Text Alerts.
- Receive immediate payment confirmation.
- Go-Green – setup paperless billing.
- Donate to Valley View’s Flush Fund, which helps your fellow neighbor in need.
- Invoice Cloud offers solutions in Spanish and English.

The fee structure for utilizing phone and online payment options include:
- Utility payments made via E-Check include a $1.00 service charge. There is no limit on the amount that can be applied to your sewer account.
- Utility payments made via Debit/Credit up to $400.00, include a $3.95 service charge.
- Utility payments made via E-Check include a $1.75 service charge. There is no limit on the amount that can be applied to your sewer account.
- Utility payments made via Debit/Credit up to $400.00, include a $4.70 service charge.

Notice of Cyber Security Incident –Automatic Funds Transfer Services, Inc. (AFTS): Valley View Sewer District was notified of a cybersecurity incident involving its former payment processing vendor, Automatic Funds Transfer Services, Inc. (AFTS). The AFTS servers were illegally accessed by an encrypted ransomware attack, occurring between February 3, 2021, and February 4, 2021. AFTS maintains customer data as part of its payment processing services. Customers are encouraged to monitor their payment accounts for unusual activity and report anything suspicious to their bank right away.
Potentially breached information from the AFTS database may have included the following personal information: utility bill account number, name, address, and billing amounts. For more information, you may contact us at 206-242-3236 or email@example.com.

COVID-19 (CORONAVIRUS) CUSTOMER & STAFF PROTECTION MEASURES
Valley View Sewer District closed its office doors to the public on March 13, 2020, to limit the spread of COVID-19 and help preserve & maintain the health & life of the public.
Sewer Related Emergencies

Billing Questions & Account Updates
We request all non-sewer related emergency calls leave a message in our general voicemail. Please leave your name, service address, and your contact information, and we will return your call as soon as possible. The District phone number is 206-242-3236. An email inbox for billing questions is firstname.lastname@example.org.
You may pay your sewer bill by US Mail, by phone, by auto-pay, online, or in-person by dropping off your payment in the drop box located near the flag pole in our parking lot. https://www.valleyviewsewer.org/customers/billing/
Proclamation 20-23 also encouraged utility districts to take reasonable actions to mitigate the economical impacts of COVID-19. Effective March 23, 2020, the District will not add late fees to sewer bills that are due at the end of this month. The District will review this practice for future sewer billing cycles. Staff is prepared to answer your billing questions and will establish payment arrangements to prevent past-due account balances. Governor Inslee has issued Proclamation 20-23, pertaining to Utility Ratepayer Assistance and Preservation of Essential Services. Valley View Sewer District is committed to keeping our customers connected to essential services during the COVID-19 pandemic emergency. If you are experiencing hardship as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible for support, including long-term payment arrangements or bill assistance. This proclamation does not relieve customers from the obligation to pay for utility services

Board of Commissioners Meeting Notice
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, the District’s Regular Board Meetings that are open to the public, and routinely held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the District Administration Office, will not be open for onsite attendance. Staff, the Board of Commissioners, and the public are welcome to attend the meeting remotely by: calling into the meeting, or by connecting to the meeting with their computer or smart phone. Please contact District staff if you have questions about this process.
